Wellenspiel Wine Glass, 160 ml by Moser

The name of the Wellenspiel collection (roughly translated to "a play of waves") gives away the source of German designer Sabine Wachs' inspiration. The sides of the glass are adorned with a light decor and when the light is just right, the reflection reminds its users of the rippling surface of the water. Thus the rite of drinking wine receives a new dimension, which urges experimentation.

Design and production

A playful effect on elegant glass

The glasses have a modest, yet elegant, form. Their playful optical effect is not only on display with the clear crystal but also the other selected designs of Moser's typical colours. Shades of alder, topaz, rosaline, alexandrite, beryl, and aquamarine rise from the dense bottom of the challis, all the way to the nearly invisible edge.
