The Alabaster Candle by Trudon

Trudon's most sculptural collection. Delicate alabaster replaces the House's signature green glass, transforming each candle into an object with a matching carved lid.

Each vessel is carved in Spain from a single block, revealing the stone's natural veining — no two alike. In Le Perche, Trudon's master chandlers set the wick and hand-pour the perfumed, plant-based wax following time-honored techniques.

When the candle has burned down, the alabaster vessel remains: a permanent object for the room. Refills are available in each fragrance.

Fragrances

Ernesto: Leather, tobacco, and amber — Havana under a fixed sun. Trudon's most requested masculine scent.

Abd el Kader: Blackcurrant, mint, and jasmine finishing on vanilla — fresh and green.

Atria: A warm, enveloping composition for the collection.

Hemera: Named for the Greek goddess of day — luminous and soft.

Care

On first use, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface — roughly two hours — to prevent tunneling. Trim the wick to 5 mm before each lighting, and never burn for more than two hours at a time. Clean the alabaster with a dry, soft cloth only; avoid water and solvents.
