Cachepot by Match Pewter

A cachepot, for the uninitiated, is the French name for a decorative holder of a flower pot. While we are not French, we are strong advocates for this historical style and recommend that any flora that may reside within this beautiful pewter vase first be placed in a container, whether decorative or protective. We've found that there are several uses for this handsome piece, including as a display for rolled guest towels, to hold fatwood near a fireplace, or, when paired with our tongs, as an elegant ice bucket.

Care Instructions

Match flatware and ceramic dinnerware are dishwasher safe. Use the lowest heat setting, for washing and drying cycles. Allow dinnerware to cool before handling. Mugs, stemware and barware must be washed by hand.

Cleaning your pewter: Pewter requires almost no maintenance. To clean your pewter, hand wash in warm water. Dry the pewter completely, as water drops will cause spots.
