Eau de Parfum by Trudon

In 2017 Trudon extended three and a half centuries of wax and wick into perfumery. The Eaux de Parfum carry the same character as the candles — unhurried, a little severe, built on real materials rather than trends.

Each is presented in a heavy glass flacon with the house emblem, composed in Paris and made in France.

Fragrances

Mortel: The house signature. Pimento and black pepper give way to Somalian frankincense, resolving in benzoin resin, pure cistus, and myrrh — incense as it is actually burned, smoky and resinous rather than sweet.

Bruma: Named for the mist. A softer, powdery composition with iris at its center.

Aphelie: Named for the point in orbit farthest from the sun — floral, cool, and quietly luminous.

Care

Store away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve the composition. Spray on pulse points; do not rub, which breaks the top notes.
