The Oblong Dish (16 cm) from Royal Copenhagen's legendary Flora Danica service — in continuous production since 1790 and widely considered the world's most prestigious porcelain. Each piece is formed and painted entirely by hand after the original 18th-century Flora Danica botanical encyclopedia and finished in 24-karat gold. Shown with the motif Euphrasia officinalis L. var. Latifolia (Pursch.)

Flora Danica is entirely made to order: choose from approximately 3,000 botanical motifs — no two pieces are ever alike.
