The Dinner Plate with Openwork Border (25 cm) from Royal Copenhagen's legendary Flora Danica service — in continuous production since 1790 and widely considered the world's most prestigious porcelain. The openwork border is carved by hand while the porcelain is still soft; each piece is then painted entirely by hand after the original 18th-century Flora Danica botanical encyclopedia and finished in 24-karat gold.
