La Cloche Bell Jar by Trudon

Through the 20th century the wedding cloche lost its symbolic function in the home and became a collectible — an object of decoration. Since opening its Paris boutique, Trudon has used these traditional glass bells to display candles, and lifting one to reveal the scent beneath has become part of the house ritual.

Placed over an unlit Classic Candle, La Cloche traps the fragrance so that it releases in a rush when raised. Placed over a burned-down candle, it turns the vessel into a display piece.

Care

Never place the cloche over a lit candle. Clean the glass with a soft dry cloth; the wooden base should not be submerged.
